Cowboy #128 was changed to carrying two guns. The change
took place between May and July 1960 and it also explains why it is a rare figure today. The old
pictures found at the factory in 2008 proved that the theory below was true
(re "Salgsfoto"):
Many
figures were sold with loose arms, which makes variations possible. In my
listings I have only included figures which can be verified by catalogues,
pricelists etc, but some "official variations" may excist. The cowboy below
is an example. It is a combination I have come across a few times. It is not
listed. The body comesfrom # 127 or 128 and arms
are (almost) similar to those of # 130, (cowboy with mask). When you combine
loose parts you will usually see at least a small variation of colour, but
not in this case. It was probably produced and sold like this. |
